About Molten One of the many things I love about Washington Island is the sunsets. On the island, many people have the habit of taking a break at the end of the day to watch the sun go down. They go to a scenic spot where they visit with their neighbors and watch the star of our solar system melt into the water. At home, too often I'm distracted by details to give the sunset my full attention. On the island, all the local colors seep into your soul and the last rays of the sun flow like molten lava across your face, then your hands, then your heart.
